I would have voted for can't keep anyway, but my raw wound from the last round locks it in.

This is tough
I think I have to go with Smile, but I feel sad.

If you had previously felt sad I would request that you feel grievance so we can move on with our lives

It is with a grievance that I must report otherwise.

Really love both of these numbers. Can't Keep has the benefit of being on Riot Act which is a good winter time album, so I'm feeling it more at the moment.

I've never understood the love Smile gets from quite a few people. It's okay at best. Can't Keep is PJ average, but that's good enough in this matchup.

I don't think I've ever said to myself, "I really want to hear Smile right now." The same is not true of Can't Keep. This one's not close at all for me.

There's something about the fuzziness of Jeff's guitar accompanied by the THWOCK of Jack's snare in Smile that gets me every time.

As simple as it is, Smile just never gets old.

Re: II-31: Can't Keep vs. Smile
I don't get it. It was old almost immediately for me. I never seek this song out. It never just pops into my head like "I should listen to Smile, that sounds good". When it randomly comes on it doesn't peak my interest. It is just kind of there. I don't find anything about it offensive, but I find nothing about it compelling either.evenslow wrote:As simple as it is, Smile just never gets old.

Smile is a sentimental favorite. Holds a very special place in my heart. And, yeah, it does... it makes me smile, ear to ear. Every time.
