Mixed feelings on the new 30 for 30 on Bill McCartney and the Colorado Buffaloes. It was about 20 minutes too long and parts of it come across as a cheesy fluff piece about his "redemption". On the other hand, it offered some nice insights into their Orange Bowl seasons.

Watched "The Prince of Pennsylvania" last night. Found it pretty riveting. Made me want to watch "Foxcatcher."

The big documentary film festival here in town starts next weekend. It is usually quite a bit of fun.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

My personal faves:

Room 237
Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows
Ghosts of the West: The End of the Bonanza Trail (2012)
Soaked In Bleach
Paradise Lost (all of them)
The Central Park Five
Murder Rap-I thought it would suck since Biggie and Tupac was terrible but this is a very intriguing crime documentary

Room 237 is so much fun. It's total batshit crazy, but I enjoyed it.
