He was in something else I watched recently--Parks & Rec? It also seems like I've watched a thousand movies from the late 1980s/early 1990s that feature Frankie Faison (although the number is probably 3-4, I always smile when I see him).

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Re: The Wire
Honestly, I don't know many people who dislike Season 2. It's one of my favorites. I can still remember throwing it on after Season 1 and still expecting more of the same "cops vs. street" stuff, and was thrilled when it went in a much more creative direction. It's also got great side characters like Horseface, the black guy who wants to be president of the union (sorry, man), the woman who runs the bar, Nicky's dad, and so on.

Re: The Wire
Yes, it is. I didn't initially love it as I was watching it, since it was such a huge character departure from the first season. But, after I finished the series the first time, I had a much higher opinion of that season. And, for me, its one of the best seasons to rewatch.numbers wrote:Season 2 is fucking awesome.

I reserve the right to change my mind based on the other scenes that people bring up.
