I saw some cartoon called We Bare Bears yesterday before I went to bed and I'm weirdly fascinated by it. Is this a show you watch, chud? It seems like it would be.

It's pretty good. It's about these three bears who live in human society.

I meant Perry. I have always mixed those two guys up.
If you want him, you can have him.

The Giants need an 8-2 finish to set a new RM whatif record for best regular season winning percentage (numbers' LCS team has the current record of .685).

It'd be kinda crazy if after all of this the NL Playoffs ended up as Giants-Dodgers and Cardinals-Cubs. The AL still looks like it could be any combination of the five teams within three games of each other, though the bigger story in the AL is probably the possibility that phil may make the playoffs for the very first time (I think he may be the only person to have been in every single tournament who hasn't yet).

:?

I'm proud of the way I've run my Jays teams because there's only so much you can work with in a Franchise tournament, and I still think my Post-Strike team was amazing and would be better in a full season... but good god was I ever terrible in the last two draft tournaments.

I just went back to check, and it turns out I lost in seven games to Skitch, the eventual champion, and three of my four losses were by one run. It's too bad we can't check the boxscores, but that was a pretty intense first round.

I assume my big mistake was taking 2001 instead of 1995 Randy Johnson.

I assume ties will be broken on the field. No tiebreaker bullshit I hope.

I would assume that it's considered a regular season game like in reality. Therefore, rest would not reset yet. Lament, can you confirm?

I'm going to have to re-tool the Astros lineup to try and salvage this thing.

Yes. Seeding ties will be broken by tie-breakers, but when a playoff spot is in question, there is a play-in game (we had one in the LCS Tournament between chud and argo). Play-in games are indeed considered part of the regular season, and pitchers are subjected to the same rest rule/standards.

EDIT: This is from the LCS Tournament OP...
3. The top four teams in the standings at the end of the season will make the playoffs. Tie-breakers for the fourth spot will be settled via play-in game. These games are considered part of the regular season, so pitchers in them are subjected to regular season rest restrictions. Tie-breakers for the other spots will be based on head-to-head record. If the teams split their meetings, the tie will be broken by whoever had the better record against the highest seeded team overall (this will carry down in the standings until the tie is broken).

You might want to make a rule for a 3 way tie for the final playoff spot too.
