I'm thinking that track list was real for the very reason that its disappeared. That Italian site was right on the last one or the one before.

All of Rearviewmirror's sales get doubled because it's a double album, correct? So in reality it only sold half off that.

Riot Act was pretty damn quiet when that was released without a solid radio hit. Backspacer, for better or worse, had the hell promoted out of it with 2 very successful songs.
wasn't I am Mine just as successful as WWS & the Fixer? I think Backspacer just had a better 2nd single in Just Breathe compared to Save You, and was a more accessible album than Riot Act.
I Am Mine
Modern Rock - 6
Mainstream Rock - 7
Billboard 100 - 43

WWS
Modern Rock - 1
Mainstream Rock - 2
Billboard 100 - 41

Fixer (change in chart terminology by this point)
Rock Songs - 2
Alternative Songs - 3
Mainstream Rock Tracks - 10
Billboard 100 - 56

Just Breathe
Rock Songs - 5
Alternative Songs - 6
Mainstream Rock Tracks - 36
Billboard Triple A Songs (Adult Album Alternative) - 1
Billboard 100 - 78
Billboard's record keeping on the subject of singles is occasionally frustrating. According to All Access's reporting at the time, The Fixer received nearly as many plays as Given to Fly did during its run, and hung on for almost as long (more than 4 months compared to the very brief 6-12 week stints that Nothing and I Am Mine experienced, or the slightly longer one that Wishlist enjoyed)...while Just Breathe ended up topping even that. In terms of radio alone, they noted that Just Breathe was actually the band's most successful original song since Betterman.
All of Rearviewmirror's sales get doubled because it's a double album, correct? So in reality it only sold half off that.

No. Sales aren't doubled. It just gets certified for double. So if it says it sold a million, then it sold a million...but would qualify for double platinum.

I like the build up and anticipation, especially given the long wait. I want to get the single, get the 15 second song clips, and all the rest.

Backspacer was the right album at the right time for me.

Right now, I could use a new PJ Album and for it to be the right album at the right time for me....

Me too. Hopefully, the feel of the songs will be something like;

an up tempo rocker touching on how it is hard to get motivated near the age of 40 to exercise regularly
a fast paced (think "Go" or "Comatose") solo-heavy number that really speaks to how most people have a job that anger them
a soft ballad, an "Eddie crooner" about being middle-aged and not having a full retirement plan yet
some stuff about the government spying on us
a monumental album closer that hits on the greatness of the past 13 years with my dog and how I have to face it that it is tough watching him rapidly age

They already wrote this song, except told from the dog's point of view. It's called "The End".

Did anyone grab a copy before it was taken down? I don't think google caught it.

Im the opposite, I hated Backspacer at the time it was released, I wanted more angst, solos etc...but now I cant stop listening to it, it just seems so fresh sounding to me now idk why...Its great with headphones too....Also Im starting to dig Ole', the ending is just badazz...I hope the new album has some funk elements to it

if its legit....

Billy Billy micropenis

This excites me because it means they are back to putting on quirky little numbers on an album like the good ol' days

Didn't... didn't someone from RM confess to making up the entire thing?
