While everyone knew SC would be a drubbing, it was really worse than pollsters thought: 538 had Clinton getting around 67% of the vote, so 73% is a nice out-perform. Since Super Tuesday is only a few days away, I don't think there's going to be enough time for this to sink in and affect the news cycle, but if Clinton takes 7/8 states on Tuesday (she could lose Massachusetts, but the polls look close), the talking point between then and the Michigan primary a week later is going to be: "When should Sanders drop out?" I personally think he'll hang around until there's a clear Republican nominee, because he'll feel he can still affect the tenor of the conversation and the topics that get covered--but as soon as Trump really pulls away (or Rubio somehow overcomes him), Sanders will bow out gracefully.

Also, I'd be shocked if that number in CNN's demo story about Bernie actually "winning" the Hispanic vote in early exit polling held true. I'm guessing that included a broad spectrum of rural areas and a small sampling of LV.

Nevada's hispanic population is centered around LV (Clark County) and they had some insanely long lines, so I'd guess she actually "won" that demographic.

I knew those numbers were shady as fuck.

The actual election returns in Las Vegas’s Clark County hint at a different story. Analyzed neighborhood by neighborhood, they suggest that Mrs. Clinton might have won the Hispanic vote by a comfortable margin. She won about 60 percent of delegates in heavily Hispanic areas, a result that calls the finding of the polling into question.

I question Bernie's strategy of simply giving up in S.C. He should have hit it hard after Nevada. I know it wouldn't have made much of a huge difference in S.C., but it would have at least given the appearance that he wasn't simple waving the white flag. Losing by a respectable 20% or so in S.C. was more important than scratching for a few extra votes in Super Tuesday states. He needed to fight the idea that Hilldog is inevitable.
