yeah wasn't thrilled with this. pretty big letdown. after it ended, the wife put it on The Bachelor, and it was much more entertaining.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I generally hate the glorification of selfish assholes in film & tv (see Mad Men), so was programmed to dislike it from the start...But it somehow managed to exceed by expectations for suckiness. How the hell does a show set in 1973 feature "Come On Feel The Noise" by Quiet Riot AND punk rock?!

You need to seriously reevaluate Mad Men, friend.

Hell yes , about the only thing the show has going for it now. Carnavale is usually great, just haven't really been impressed with what the show has to offer so far but I'll probably continue to check it out. Agree on 'potential'

Yep, same here. And Olivia Wilde is a plus, yes.

I haven't watched Sunday's episode, I think this is one of those shows i'll watch one or two at a time 2-3 weeks after it airs and hope I actually finish it.

I'm kinda disappointed with the general opinion here of the show. I don't love love it, but man, I think you guys are being over critical right off the bat. I'm at least willing to give it the season to get its footing...
