I go back-and-forth on this, too, but as you seem to do in this post, Joey, for me it comes down to: there are certain issues that I think are fundamental civil/human rights issues, and if a candidate steps over the line on even just one of those, they're basically crossed off the list for me.durdencommatyler wrote:And I get what you're saying. One can't be a one issue voter...But god, why do these men have to be so gross about these important issues?
I need to read/hear more about Clinton's feelings on the drone program, because that's one thing that I've heard rumblings about that bothers me a great deal.

Jesus, I don't know how anyone can watch this shrill kind of comedy/political commentary/whatever.durdencommatyler wrote:tragabigzanda wrote:Kasich actually did some good work on welfare and an Earned Income Credit for his state.Chris_H_2 wrote:Kasich's a solid candidate who would probably win in the general election. Kasich?.... Kasich...?
No thank you.
That said, given I knew nothing about him before, Kasich comes across like a decent, principled guy in this.

We definitely have to be in the right mood to watch Samantha Bee or John Oliver. The intro song alone is enough to give me a headache.Birds in Hell wrote:Jesus, I don't know how anyone can watch this shrill kind of comedy/political commentary/whatever.durdencommatyler wrote:tragabigzanda wrote:Kasich actually did some good work on welfare and an Earned Income Credit for his state.Chris_H_2 wrote:Kasich's a solid candidate who would probably win in the general election.
