agreed, but most of the people here dont know dmb's catalog well enough to realize all the great songs they have.
I was focusing more on the songwriting aspect. I also know DMB's catalogue well enough to compare the two with a high degree of arrogance.

Ill admit they are a great BAND. Amazingly talented and super tight - very different beast from PJ. I had friends obsessed with DMB in college (obviously) but I never heard much I actually liked enough to elicit an emotional response. This is great though:

It is utterly astonishing how much time and analysis has gone into this thread of why this show was edited as such.

I don't really see the appeal of owning something like this on vinyl.

Changing sides so often would be kind of a drag, surely?

It's never too late.
I guess not. I don't really know how I'd share it though with this shitty internet o' mine. I also made a Live on Ten Legs one.
How could you! Going to so much effort and then keeping it to yourself all these years...

If shitty internetty is the issue you should post a copy of each DVD to me, I'll slap some artwork on 'em and then upload to jam-river for all to enjoy :hooray:

Fixed that for me. I don't get it. The improvement in sound quality requires $$$ equipment, it's fragile and you have to flip sides, takes up a ton of space, and I do most of my PJ music listening in the car, train, or while exercising. I do miss perusing the record/CD shops of the 90's, with their special section of "Kiss The Stone live import CDs" hidden in the back, but it's not something I feel the need to recreate at home.

I got it to resale in a few years for like $300. I don't think I'm gonna even open mine.
