I know you put a lot of stock in critical consensus so, for what it's worth, most critics agree that the show starts off bad and finds its footing around the end of season 1.

Season 2 is pretty great.

Holy shit was season 2 amazing. The last few episodes especially. And that it ended with avant gardner

yeah, don't. it picks up considerably by s1's end, and s2 builds on everything to the final few episodes which are the best of series. it can be depressing at times- it gets pretty dark in places- but stick it out because the show ends up rewarding those that do buy in.

This season is amazing. The episode in the film festival was pretty incredible.

I started watching season 2 of rebels before this came out, and I want to finish rebels before I dive into this. But it's so hard...

The Film festival episode was as beautiful and sad as this series know how. Probably the best season so far.

Also, Sarah Lynn death...watching those two snorting coke, trying to do something good with making amends and then doing the opposite..Charlotte´s kid eyes when she sees Bo Jack...All great. And the end with BoJack driving...Beautiful.
