Also, I'll use this opportunity to bump my earlier request for an RM Rocket League team or tourney. I think only one person said before that they'd be into it? Anyway, I still think it's be great fun.
I'd be willing to play sometime soon if you want. Friend request sent. I haven't played in a good while so I might be a bit rusty.
Cool, accepted. I've got company through Monday, so let's try to get on together next week?
Sounds good to me.

Two big wins in Fallout this week, guys:

1. After getting repeatedly killed by the robot in the tower at the General Atomics Galleria, I finally realized I had up my charisma by putting on a suit, a hat, and glasses, and then down some Mentats. I talked my way into that gig real nice, and learned a lot in the process.

2. I killed a Deathclaw without the use of a mech suit; just lots of molotovs, Jet, and Psychobuff. Felt like a real boss.

I can see myself easily hitting 100 hours without this thing getting old.

If you want more a nice charisma outfit, do the Trinity Tower quest and find some black rim/fashionable glasses. The suit you get from the quest plus the glasses give an instant +4 charisma when worn.

 Can't say I'm taking the quests too seriously yet. I seem to get waylaid on my way to a quest every single time.

Wait until you get caught in a three way between mutants, raiders and a deathclaw. :naughty:

Go to vault 81 and buy the Overseer's Guardian rifle. It's pretty much the only weapon i've used since i got it (and modified it). Thing is ridiculously overpowered - it just mows down Deathclaws with a couple of shots and one-shots pretty much everyone else. I actually had to up the game difficulty because it was too powerful

I don't know how much staying power it will have with me but I definitely want to play it. I like all of the different elements they seem to have added.

Did you see the article posted about the various languages you can learn? That concept is really cool.

I did. They've been vague about whether there would be intelligent aliens, so I was really happy to hear there are. And yeah, that concept sounds super cool.

The novelty of exploring different planets will wear off pretty quickly if there aren't enough reasons to do it, so features like that will give the game staying power.

I planned on using vacation time when it came out expecting it to have been released over the winter, but I guess I'll have to save playing it for my days off

I feel like it is the type of game I will play for like 20-30 minutes every other day for awhile.
