Forgive me for not following the rules too closely here, but why leave this match-up open when others are closed? Is it only because the votes between the two songs are nearly equal? If that's why, I don't understand the rationale behind treating a close vote differently to one where the winner is clear. If it's not tied, it's decided...isn't it?
