I understand to an extent current players/managers getting fired up over "unwritten" courtesy because they are trying to refocus their own team or let pitchers know they have their back etc.
It's a professional sport, It's completely and entirely entertainment. It's a freaking game, for the love of all that is good and holy, the season is WAY WAY WAY too long.
Have a good time doing whatever you like to do.
Today's players are petulant whiny douches, because they've been famous since they were 8 and they have no idea how to conduct themselves in a professional setting.
They are still really good players, it's still a fun game to watch, probably better in the last few years.
Its the internet, hyperbole era. It's still fun.
If the rule is actually important, write the thing down.

Stuff like this makes it so obvious why the white Sox are a joke of an organization despite their fluke WS win. Dopes like Sale and Eaton are spending all their time whining about their shitty ex DH's annoying kid when they did nothing but lose baseball games last year. According to Eaton, the Sox have lost a 'leader' in 14 year old Drake Laroache. Jesus, what a bunch of losers and it's no surprise at all Jerry Reinsdorf is at the top of this garbage pile. The sooner that guy kicks off the better

One of the worst owners in sports has spoke guys, it's okay:
“I have taken the past few days to personally meet with everyone involved, including Adam LaRoche, members of our front office, uniformed staff and some of our active players. I continue to have nothing but the greatest regard for Adam --- in fact, my respect for him has grown during this process -- and I applaud his desire to spend more time with his family.
I continue to have complete faith in the skills and abilities of the leadership group of our baseball operations department in Ken Williams, Rick Hahn and Robin Ventura. I also appreciate the passion and commitment to one another shown by our players, Robin, our coaching staff and our front office. As with many things in life, much of this was a result of miscommunication and misunderstanding rather than this being a case of anyone not telling the truth. I do not believe there is anyone to directly blame in this situation. While there is no doubt this might have been handled differently, the fact remains that this is an internal matter that we have discussed and now resolved.
Per my request, White Sox employees will no longer discuss this matter publicly. I felt it was appropriate to release this statement to close the issue for everyone in the organization -- from the front office to the players in the clubhouse -- so we can focus on Opening Day and winning baseball games for our fans. I am fully confident this matter will soon be behind us and that we will grow even stronger and more united as a team and as an organization.”
So to recap: I looked into it. We just had bad interdepartmental communication, which is why I fired Tom Thibadeau. Nothing is changing, except I told everyone to not speak of it anymore.
I hope the Sox lose 100 games this season...
