I wouldn't be surprised if Battier gets a little more run tonight.

Haha, me either. I know they've played some elite defenses in the playoffs and have been dealing with injuries, but where has their regular season mojo gone? It baffles me.4/5 wrote:This is mostly true. But after these playoffs I'm not even sure what Heat basketball is supposed to look like anymore.Monkey_Driven wrote: That's what I was going for. I feel like I am watching Spurs basketball moreso than Heat basketball if that makes sense. The score doesn't necessarily reflect it all the time.

LeBron is shooting 38% on a lot of "straight-up" D by Leonard. I think he deserves a lot of credit.4/5 wrote:I mean Leonard's been executing it so he deserves credit, but I think Pop should get the majority of the credit for the game plan: give James and Wade a cushion, let them shoot all the J's they (don't) want to shoot, clog the lane, and don't let them get in the paint. I don't think Leonard has done anything amazing on defense. His offense rebounding on the other hand has been insane.turned2black wrote:It's like the Spurs have done nothing to earn their two wins. Let's not give Kawhi Leonard any credit for the amazing D he has been playing either.

Leonard has been very active playing 1 on 1 and clogging up passing lanes. He's been everywhere.turned2black wrote:LeBron is shooting 38% on a lot of "straight-up" D by Leonard. I think Miami is going to play a good game tonight. Thing is, the Spurs can still beat Miami even if they play well.

Miami seem to have a tendency of bouncing back strong after a bad game.4/5 wrote:I think Miami is going to play a good game tonight. Thing is, the Spurs can still beat Miami even if they play well.

Everybody's gonna kill Miami tomorrow but if the Spurs shoot like this NOBODY can beat them. I was hoping they blew their outlier shooting wad already but...

I'm starting to try and talk myself into a "I'm happy for TMac" mindset.

Re: NBA Thread
The Heat have shown up and played well with contributions from Wade and at least some semblance of toughness from Bosh.......and its still only tied at half.

Yep. The way the big three have played it would feel like Miami would be up 15. I don't know if I should be more nervous because its tied or encouraged because wade and lebron showed up.

Great d from Miami and the Spurs still put up 49. This team can absolutely beat Miami even if they're playing well.

Yep.
The Heat peaked too soon....
All they have to do is steal this game though.
My hatred for Bosh just keeps growing. Even when he does something good, I am still seething.
