I like Ayers, he got caught in the middle of way too many defensive scheme changes in Denver and never had a chance to settle in properly.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Ayers is a decent signing.

Ive been pretty happy with everything so far, while i might have liked some of the bigger name options out there, that hasnt exactly worked out for the bucs lately, so the locked up Doug which im happy about and then brought in some depth at a few positions of need, and have really made it so that they can do most anything in the draft. I would still expect to see a DE and a CB and or safety in this draft but they can draft BPA and not be hurting too bad at any position

So will this be the year Glennon gets traded? Ive kind of been expecting it for the last couple of weeks but no real rumblings, i love having him as a backup but if he is gonna walk next year then getting a 2nd or 3rd round pick for him wojld be really nice, and id like to see what he can do if given a real chance

Re: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
If he gets a megacontract like Osweiler did on the open market then they can craft their free agency period to get a 3rd round compensatory pick for him. So any team trading for Glennon should expect the Bucs to demand at least a 3rd, and I can't see any team willing to give that up for a guy with only one year left on his deal.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:So will this be the year Glennon gets traded? Re: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Yeah, the team wanting to trade for him would need to talk to him about an extension, or some of the people one a bucs message board have suggested that his agent should work him out an extension with the bucs to make him seem a little more attractive in a trade. Like i said, id really like to see what he can do with a chance, i wish lovie had given him a real shot to be the starter in his second season instead of bringing in McCown and handing him the job, but unless there really is no starting opportunity out there for him then i k ow he wont stay with the bucs to be Winstons long time back up.Green Habit wrote:If he gets a megacontract like Osweiler did on the open market then they can craft their free agency period to get a 3rd round compensatory pick for him. handing the job to McCown was just baffling. So stupid.
