Role reversals, Maggie's vicious and Carol can't kill anymore. Ain't that somethin.

And Alicia Witt. Wouldn't have minded seeing a bit more of her on the show.

Im really excited for this negan character. He must be brutal considering the horrible shit rick and co. are pulling.
Spoiler: show
Also, I read that Negan won't show up till the last episode of the season.

I dont read the comics but i was getting antsy for learning more about negan. I browsed through some wikipedia stuff, do Negan and Rick end up kind of living in harmony of sorts?

I didn't realize they're stretching this out until the last episode... Why do they announce stuff like that? That's dumb.

This show. I feel as if the creators take its audience to be half stupid. Okay so we'll move the narrative forward in a a few episodes and then we'll spend the vast majority watching the group get split up, inspecting houses, meeting other bad people -- anything the to throw the brakes on actually moving the story forward in any meaningful way.

I remember watching S3 for the first time thinking "Okay, The Governor, world's expanding. I mean, sure, there's still no endgame in sight -- or even hinted at -- but okay." And now it's very clear that there is no direction for this show.

This isn't The Sopranos or The Wire but you get the feeling that AMC, Chris Hardwick, and anyone else who actually buys into the melodramatic moments in a show about zombies really wants you to think that it's on that level. I mean, at least Z Nation is a fun show.

Over/under 10 seasons (w/ still no end in sight). I got the over. Thanks Robert Kirkman.

Alright, I'm done.
I could see the show ending when they resolve the Negan story line, which, they could drag out for two seasons.
Spoiler: show
That is, if they stick loosely too how they deal with Negan in the comic--Rick realizing he doesn't have to kill.

Yeah, this ep felt like one of those minimalist two act, one set plays. Interesting at times, but not essential.

Carol's doubts don't feel right, or consistent to the character they've developed with her.

I dont know. We've kind of seen her domesticate at Alexandria for awhile and i think her scenes with Morgan have been fairly impactful.

I agree with both of you. She felt a little out of character at times, but her motivations make sense.

No. Not at all. After the war with Negan there is harmony. I hope the series ends following the war. Or the show needs to stop following the comic's path at that point.

While Negan leads the Saviors there is war. The war is over when Rick defeats Negan. Rick chooses not to kill him. He goes to jail. There is a 2? Year flash forward and the everyone is thriving across Alexandria, Hilltop, Kingdom and Sanctuary. Negan remains in jail. I wouldn't say they coexist.

Was pretty disappointed that Alicia Witt lost her face so soon - would have liked to see her stick around a bit longer
