It's almost like we're at a nightclub or an awards show or something. Like some fancy red carpet event. But, you know, in space. Looks bonkers and fantastic.

Right? I wonder how much is missing from the shots (costumes, masks, CGI, FX, etc). So weird and awesome.

I don't mean to deprive anyone of their excitement for this film -- I'm excited too -- but all I see are a few pics from what is obviously some sort of fraternal order of jedi monks. This could be nothing more than a two-minute scene. But at least it's more exciting than the Senate in the prequels.

I don't mean to deprive anyone of their excitement for this film -- I'm excited too -- but all I see are a few pics from what is obviously some sort of fraternal order of jedi monks. This could be nothing more than a two-minute scene. But at least it's more exciting than the Senate in the prequels.

It's the details that are so fascinating to me, though. I don't care how long the scene is, the point is that it looks bananas compared to what we saw in TFA. The first images we saw from that were all familiar. I wouldn't even guess this is Star Wars if someone didn't tell me.
