My group of friends is so desperate to see them that we're contemplating driving down to San Francisco for Outside Lands just to see Radiohead do a festival set.swan wrote:Expecting a new record to drop in June before the shows

C*nts!!!!!
Man, I hope I get to see Radiohead one day.
I've given up on them ever playing Adelaide again (last time was the OK Computer tour and I was a teenager and away on a family holiday) but I'd definitely try to get to Melbourne or Sydney to see them if they came again (last time was right after my daughter was born, bad timing, etc.)

Probably worth it. I saw them at OL in 2008, and they played pretty close to a full show, maybe minus a second encore.

It will be. But I'm a little less desperate than my friends, having seen Radiohead 3 times in the past. We'll probably do it, though.swan wrote:matt reeder wrote:My group of friends is so desperate to see them that we're contemplating driving down to San Francisco for Outside Lands just to see Radiohead do a festival set.swan wrote:Expecting a new record to drop in June before the shows

I saw them in a place like that (Tower Theater). Very memorable. One of the toughest tickets that I ever scored.swan wrote:
This is probably the coolest US venue they have played in a long time. Really hope I can score tickets on Friday.

I just recently received a recording of June 2. If it was the show you were at, I can Dropbox it to you.diesel wrote:i was at that tower theater show. very cool. is there a decent recording of it?

I don't think there is a presale.

There are excellent recordings of almost every show on that tour. I know I have a good recording of the 6/02/2006 show.CopperTom wrote:I just recently received a recording of June 2. Shhh we'll build the wall while they're there.LoathedVermin72 wrote:RIP Mr. & Mrs. tragtragabigzanda wrote:Mrs. Trag and I are seriously considering traveling for the Mexico City show, but have some concerns given the drug crime/kidnappings in Mexico. Is it a safe city? Is it conceivable we could spend a couple nights there, take in some sights, and attend the show without being at any serious risk? Or is it one of those cities where you're sort of expected to watch your back at all times?

that's what the email says. "exclusions apply." and then you read further and it says "this offer limited to lawful citizens of the united states." weird.
