Well then why make the prequels? We all knew anakin became Vader. Why make the Lord of the Rings movies? We all know what happened from the books. Don't be silly, dime.

this is actually pretty smart, because we know that the good guys will 'win', but since this is all new characters we basically have no idea who lives or dies.

Exactly. And it's a hollow "win."

Wow. Trailer description just landed.

Black screen. Lucasfilm logo. Vader breathing for a bit then he says 'Rebel scum' into action shots, including him slashing and leaping with lightsaber and shots of rebel X wings getting torn up and some ground troops and close off shot of a delivery(?) to the bare bones Death Star and voice saying ' we need a new hope'.

Yeah... there can't be any way that last line is actually a line in this movie, right? Impossible.

And you are the same people seriously thinking about electing Trump. You don't get to talk about bad lines. In fairness.

Um... I'm fairly certain there isn't a single person posting regularly in this thread -- and certainly not at all on this page -- that is seriously thinking about electing Trump. There are probably more of of seriously thinking about killing him than electing him, dime.
