Be Mine is one of my favourite songs, and easily my sentimental favourite. This is an easy one.

Underneath the Bunker is a fun little diversion (that doesn't feel like it's distracting from the main event like zither or new orleans...), but that's all it is.

Be Mine is a lovely distorted one note valentine, and some great lyrics by Stipe. I've always thought of it as something of a companion piece to a song like Wishlist--a droning song that says some interesting things about relationships without ever coming right out and stating it.

Nice! We just didn't want people to feel compelled to stare at us for 5+ minutes. I tried to find a way to cut a verse, but with 2007 technology, I couldn't do it.

At first, we decided "Screw them, it's our wedding, they can stare at us for 5+ minutes." Then we decided to have the wedding party join in part way through the song so it at least broke it up a little bit.

While we went with at my most beautiful since I was in love with the 'found a way to make you smile' sentiment (and had that in my wedding vows) Be Mine is the better song

once again, I am dumb. we could've done that. we did end up with Wilco's One True Vine, which came in just under 2 minutes.

We just used the first verse/chorus, but Phil's solution is better

we took dancing lessons (my wife was a ballet dancer for many years and is very good. I, on the other hand, am terrible) prior to the wedding just for this dance, and I think one of the reasons I may really dislike the apologist is hearing the first 15 seconds of that song over and over and over again between takes.

Be Mine is such a great song, with a gnarled, slightly disturbing riff grounding a love song that could either be sublime or demented.
