Is it just me, or on the whole have Dead Ball Era pitchers fared much better this time around than they did in the last tournament?

I didn't even consider Cy Young this time around because of his awful performance last year. I had assumed that Dead Ball pitchers simply don't match up well against live ball hitters.

My cut and paste skills have suffered ever since Kenny Williams stopped letting Adam LaRoche's kid post on RM with me.

Adam LaRoche is an idiot and apparently Chris Sale is too (Adam Eaton as well, but we've always known that). If you check out the White Sox message boards it's about 99% anti-LaRoche, which is saying a lot because Kenny Williams is very unpopular in Sox-land. Adam LaRoche had been loathed for his performance since he got there, and now he's generally mocked as a human being as well (though there was a lot of that before anyways, what with his "FAITH FIRST" day at the ballpark featuring the Duck Dynasty dudes).

It's something so fucking stupid it could only happen with the White Sox. I think the thing that bothers me the most now is that Chris Sale is obviously going to become the next Curt Schilling.

Does LaRoche's kid get pulled out of school every April, and not return until October?

Also, last year I drafted LaRoche in my fantasy league and then picked the White Sox to win the pennant.

To quote Adam LaRoche, when asked about why his then 11-year old was with him from the start of spring training till the end of the season in Washington...

“We’re not big on school. I told my wife, ‘He’s going to learn a lot more useful information in the clubhouse than he will in the classroom, as far as life lessons.' "

One of the big rumors is that the new guys they signed this summer complained. Todd Frazier apparently "liked" a few tweets on twitter criticizing LaRoche briefly before "unliking" them. I guess when him and Lawrie showed up they were like "Wait, is this fucking kid here EVERY SINGLE DAY?"

I never thought I'd say this, but after all of this I wouldn't mind seeing Chris Sale go for the right deal.
