The early years were best. But really, this show was pretty good all the way up to the end. JTT never should've left, did he do anything after he left? Growing up I almost thought of the Taylor's as a part of my family. Kinda funny that this was the start of Pamela Anderson's career and that they got a Playboy Playmate as a recurring character on a family friendly sitcom.

Building a new fence with my neighbor. Digging out the old concrete footers and leveling out the ground (competing with massive tree roots) is absolutely back breaking. This sucks.

In the last week I've painted the bathroom walls and ceiling, painted the porch, painted our dining room, washed the exterior of the house and done up the garden and edging.

Still lots to do.

Painting is so easy and makes such a big difference.

We are currently getting bids to reside the house. Lots of money.

Assuming you used a pressure washer, do you know what PSI you had it set at for washing the siding? I'm about to embark on that with the place we just closed on.

No the painting on our place ( exterior and interior) was quite shoddy and thinly painted. I'm using a soft interior broom and a gentle washing up detergent.

My neck may never recover from painting my deck's beams. Still more to go but FML. Looking great though.

My to do list seems to be expanding.

Anyone have any experience with putting in hardwood floors. We want to take out the carpet in a couple rooms and the vinyl in our kitchen and hardwood the whole thing.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

 Unless you're exceptionally handy, I agree with this. Though you could probably take our the carpet and vinyl yourself to save some dough. I consider myself a fairly handy person, and hardwood floors are not something I would tackle without having done it once or twice under someone else's supervision.
Yeah, definitely not doing it myself. Could probably do the tear out myself, though.

There are so many choices, engineered vs. solid, type of wood, grain variation, finish, etc.... I see this getting complicated for the wife to decide on the details. And no way she lets me pick those things...
