Bad Ideas: Arts & Entertainment Edition

Post by CopperTom »

Rush Hour (TV Series)

Let's turn a buddy cop, action comedy movie into a TV series. Keep racial jokes. Ask actors to mimic Tucker and Chan.

I've watched so much CBS this past weekend. This commercial pissed me off each time.

Let's split this single season into 2 halves separated by a full year.

Yep. Battlestar Galactica, Mad Men, etc.

Edit: Battlestar was only separated by 6 months. Sopranos is another good example.

You're just describing sequels

Maybe sequels are bad ideas

Most are.

But then, what he's really describing is the reasoning for having lots and lots and lots of sequels.

Which is always a bad idea.
