I keep seeing subway ads for it. But you're the first person I know who has said one word about the thing.

I can't remember if I even have Showtime. If I do, I'll give it a whirl.

The finale of American Crime had been on my dvr for a couple of weeks but I just watched now. Not the one about OJ, it was the ABC series about a sexual assault that involved students from a private school. Great show, only ten episodes. Very well written and performed. Lots of one thing that lead to another with several twists and reveals along the way. A couple of the subplots late in the run weren't as interesting as the main story but still very watchable throughout, even if got to be uncomfortable viewing at times. Dialogue heavy with many conversations filmed mostly in close up. Some storylines wrapped up, some were left open ended.
One irritation: when the actors cursed the screen blinked black to edit out the words. Annoying.

The first ever episode of Deadliest Catch. I don't think that I've ever seen it before.

Tosh.0
Portlandia
Walking Dead
Better Call Saul
Top Chef (still have the finale to watch)

Game Of Thrones and Fear The Walking Dead when they start next month.

Those are the shows I watch every episode of these days. Gonna see if I can track down season 1 of True Detective.

Started 'The Big Short', but started it late and got too tired to finish it. I got about 30min left, and overall I am enjoying it. The subject matter is interesting, and I used to be in that world (worked at Freddie Mac), but the delivery is a little off. I can't quite describe it, but something is taking me out of the movie. Maybe it's the 3 intertwined but separate stories going on, maybe I was just too tired, I don't know.

Undercover boss USA.

Weirdly and so obviously staged by comparison to the UK one. Do people really buy this?

We just burned through House of Cards and Daredevil and are really trying to decide what to watch next. All have pros and cons

Jessica Jones-
Pros
Will tie in to Daredevil a bit.
All Episodes Readily available
Ive enjoyed all non-thor marvel stuff
one season is quick to catch up on

Cons:
Wife doesn't seem that interested
Do I really want to watch another 13 hours of Dreary immediately after Daredevil?

Fargo:
Pros:
Great Word of Mouth
Great Cast
Not many episodes to catch up on

Cons:
Don't love Fargo the movie
2nd season not on Netflix

Americans
Pros:
Fantastic Word of Mouth
Keri Russell getting hotter as she gets older somehow?
Ruddo Likes it

Cons:
lots of episodes to catch up on
not all episodes are on Netflix.

The episodes play a role because with GoT, Silicon Valley and baseball season coming up It gets harder to find time.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
