I will watch this guy in anything. I watched Spy this weekend just because he was in it. That line at the end when she asked where he got the suit - "I fucking made this, didn't I? - killed me. It's the British tag question. Why aren't we all using it regularly?

Oh man, I loved that line so much.

An Honest Liar -- Really liked this a lot. Great documentary. Knew nothing about the subject and was hooked.
The One I Love -- Knew nothing about it and it totally surprised me. I haven't been that thrown and genuinely surprised by a movie in a long, long time. Liked it a lot. Flawed, but creative and worth a watch. Nice performances.
Sisters -- Stupid movie but in a fun way. Laughed a lot. Would not recommend to just anyone. But very funny. I could watch Tina and Amy all day and all night.
Hello My Name is Doris -- Outstanding. Just flat out wonderful in every way. Sally Field deserves all the nominations.
Spotlight -- Solid movie. Great performances. Tight script. Not sure it's Best Picture, though. I liked Brooklyn, Room and Carol more for sure.

Man, The Wave was a hell of a movie. I'm not sure I've ever seen the destructive power of nature conveyed so convincingly, so viscerally. There are some images/moments in there that will haunt me.

So you liked it? That looks like it had some great imagery in it. I want to see it.

Yes, I liked it a lot. It takes a similar approach that Gareth Edwards took with Godzilla; a classicist structure and a slow build, and the carnage is treated seriously.

Not yet. It isn't on Netflix. Maybe it is on Hulu. I'll look.

Ah, I guess they removed it. Lame.

Laurel Canyon is a really good movie. I haven't watched it in years. Maybe I'll throw that on tonight.

The Kids are Alright is another really good movie. I don't think I realized they were directed by the same person.

Are those things mutually exclusive, though? I don't see how.
