I'm just shocked he took the predictable contrarian stance. Also I can't stand the whole condescending asshole shtick; but hey it works for him. I can see why you like him.

Do true contrarians actually exist? Does anyone on earth actually approach forming an opinion that way?

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

people so convinced they are smarter than the masses probably talk themselves into adopting contrary positions so as to confirm their intellectual superiority, yes.

just about 100% of reviews ive read understand what snyder was trying to do.
, and argue that he utterly failed on a pholosophic and storytelling (but perhaps not visual level). even the reviews that liked the movie thinks snyder fell short here.

so either the entire galaxy of critics have gotten it wrong and this guy is the ONLY one who sees it, or he is being contrarian (though not, perhaps, self aware enough to see it)

This is is not hard for me to believe at all. Though, of course, there is no such thing as "right" or "wrong" here.

wow vermin likes a critic who is an asshole. will wonders never cease

i went in hoping for the best. i heard it got bad reviews but i didnt read the bad reviews

i was only whelmed with it. not over or under. i dont want to say there were many plot holes though the one that is glaring to me is how did lex figure out who superman was? never once touched on it.

the dream sequences i got but is the
Spoiler: show
one where the flash travels back in time and warns bruce that he was right about him
a dream or something more?

i will say this, while not as skeptical as most when batfleck was announced i have to say i think his version is by far the best now. i wish they would have brought caine back as alfred.

gale was a very convincing WW and i am actually looking forward to her solo.

cavill plays such a convincing superman. his clark im not sure if it is him or the scripts but something just seems off this time around.

at best i give this movie a C. it looked really good but just something about it didnt wow me
Did the Mother Fucker pay extra to yell?

Are you fucking serious? Are these really the only two possibilities you see here? How about maybe the guy has a different perspective, a different opinion formed by his own set of tastes and life experiences? Jesus Christ, Stip.

You gotta admit Stip you are the only person in the world that really likes the last two PJ albums. You should relate.

I think when 238 critics see a movie and only 21% of them like the movie (including all the ones I regularly read because I find them insightful) there's probably some problems with it, yes.

It's a useful stand in until I see the movie, and a good way to gauge the reaction of generally thoughtful people who probably know a fair bit about film.

And this is a problem because?
