Most of my comic-book reader friends whose taste I understand or trust liked it, so I'm pretty excited despite the negativity surrounding it.

I mean, no one didn't see that coming from him though right? Every review read like a LV greatest hits. I'm glad he enjoyed it. I hope it gave him energy and inspiration. Nothing beats the feeling of genuine enjoyment. Even sex pales in comparison to the feeling of art working.

Critics hate it. Audiences love it. It's a movie for the people. The talking heads can't be bothered. Fight Club was the same way and it's the best movie ever made.

I don't think i'll ever watch this. The DC characters do nothing for me (especially superman)

I'm pretty excited to see Batman right up to the point where he fights Superman. Everything else in the movie seems uninteresting to me. But! ... to each their own.
