i think the only other one i read was a prayer for owen meany...it was pretty good, but i much preferred garp

I'm remember reading an early draft but not finishing and providing feedback before he self published. I've since lost my notes, ST. But they were probably something like, "How about a monkey that plays the piano?"

i recently read wolf in white van, which i enjoyed but not as much as i had hoped. just finished rereading american gods, which was much better on the second read

I will. I actually picked up a copy at The Strand the other day and read the firs page.
