Its probably not known for those who aren't living here in Brazil, about the situation that my country is living, where we nicknamed it "Vinegar Uprising".
I'm not trying to make a nice text, since I'm not a journalist nor like to write stuff, but our situation is at the brink of a civil war. Yes, it is that bad.
We, citizens of São Paulo, are suffering from a masked government, who rapes the population with every year higher taxes, bus passages, low salary for teachers, low investment on health and security, high investment on the FIFA World Cup (As Brazil is the soccer country,m why invest on health, education and security, right?) and all kind of ways that they can take our money, besides all of the facts of corruption, huge political scandals that were masked by the media, so the people wouldn't (presumably) follow.
What happened? The governor Geraldo Alckimin decided to raise the bus taxes(3,00 to 3,20), and that was the brink.
The people started to do marches against all the stuff that has been trowed at us, all the lies that has been told to us, and we, the people, are fucking tired of it.
The act of the police in the marches are of absolute and unnecessary violence and abuse of power, shooting at the press, shooting at old people that aren't even participating on the marches, trowing smoke bombs at peacefully protesters, witch keep screaming "No Violence".
Yes, we scream "No Violence", and they shoot at us.
People filming form the seventh floor of their apartment, got freely shoot for absolutely no reason. People are getting arrested for the reason of being there.
This is half of the situation that Brazil is living on today.
We are getting some support, especially from celebrities like Tom Morello
