I don't have a problem with it. It's snide and comical.

It's a perfectly functional, logical line in that it accomplishes its goal of tearing a cocky character down to size, saying he is just as vulnerable as everyone else. That said, it is clunky and awkward, and I'm sure they could have come up with something much more clever.

That line sums up a lot of the issues with the x-men films. Does it work? Yeah, it works well enough. It gets the point across but it's stilted and way too mechanical.

I'm also really critical on the x-men films. So it's probably just me.

Do you know what happens when Anna Kendrick bitch slaps Joey? The same thing that happens when she bitch slaps anyone else.

Did Joss Whedon work on this film?

He was brought in to work on the screenplay (as a script doctor), but all of his work was thrown out, except for two pieces of dialogue: Storm's line to Toad, and Wolverine calling Cyclops a dick.

I always liked the line. The problem is the actress sucks. Halle Berry is just terrible in these movies.

The support (and/or indifference) for that line is... shocking... disheartening. I feel like I don't understand anything anymore. Seriously, this isn't a joke, you guys have me doubting and rethinking some of my most important life choices.

I know you're being hyperbolic, but it's a cheesy line in a cheesy movie. It's not delivered particularly well, but other than that it fits the tone the genre and more specifically that movie just fine.

Guys, I'm genuinely not being hyperbolic. This is really messing with my head. It's been a rough week, professionally speaking, and this is... this is tremendously disheartening. I have to think shit over in a major way.

I say just let this one go. A lot of people hate that goddamn line.

You have extensive, well-formed opinions on art and nothing to apologize for.

Actually there was a poll and nobody hates that line, Joey is the only one.

That means a lot, Kaius. I'm sure this too shall pass. I should let it go. You're right.
