I didnt want them to sign him, but I didnt think it was the end of the world when they did.

Chud agreed. Mick was a bit more optimistic, but not by much.

I think Holt eventually will be the 3B with Young in LF most of the time.

As a Jays fan, I would like that. Young is not an everyday player.numbers wrote:I think Holt eventually will be the 3B with Young in LF most of the time.

Especially if they want to trade Holt eventually. I was shocked they didn't move him before the deadline last year. If his first half this year is anything like his first half last year, he'll have some nice value.numbers wrote:I think Holt eventually will be the 3B with Young in LF most of the time.

So... they'll have two LF who can't hit righties?numbers wrote:Well, neither is Castillo, so...philpritchard wrote:As a Jays fan, I would like that. Young is not an everyday player.numbers wrote:I think Holt eventually will be the 3B with Young in LF most of the time.

Re: Boston Red Sox Thread
I drafted him in the last round thinking I might get a couple of months of decent pitching before imploding.

Re: Boston Red Sox Thread
I was surprised when you snagged him. The best part of our draft was how Ellsbury sat there forever.
