It lost me quite a bit with the deterioration of the Rick/Shane relationship honestly. Dale had to go simply because he was Herschel with legs.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I still enjoy the first season, and parts of the second. Third is where it really went downhill, and by four, I hated it.

We enjoyed S1&2. We continued to watch until a couple episodes after the Governor was killed, but by that point it was just out of habit. We quit and never looked back, and it's funny that people expect anything more from this show beyond the excellent zombie makeup.

Same here, except we stopped a little sooner.
