I hate that Marnie won't show her boobies...

I love that I didn't see Hanna's nasty body in the most recent episode...
I'm confused. Are you a man/woman/straight/gay/bi? It doesn't matter, but given our history I'd like to know.

Sorry, I've fallen behind again. I haven't seen the last couple of episodes.

tragabigzanda wrote:Yea, most recent episode was excellent. I was critical early on this season that I had a tough time believing these characters would still be friends with each other. And now we're seeing that the threads of their connection are wearing thin, that the incompatible parts of their personalities are starting to clash, and that people are finally getting called out for shitty behavior. It's like they're actually starting to become adults.
Yup, big props to this development this season.

Her and Marnie both. Which made last week's Marnie ep such a great surprise.
Marnie sucks so bad, but her story arc and character traits are pretty believable / well-written and acted. Hanna, on the other hand, it's just way too outlandish and ridiculous. How the shit has she not been fired yet? I mean, come on.

Ray is the best part of this show.

I agree about Hanna, but Lena Dunham absolutely nailed it with her acting after learning about the Adam/Jessa relationship. I thought that reaction was very realistic.

Oh yeah that was great

Her current boyfriend is a solid dickhead too, which took me by surprise, but I guess he has to be to deal with that mess

Yea, Ray is the best. Shosh is awesome too.
Hanna is outlandish, but I definitely know people like her. It's gratifying to see her encounter some pushback from the world as she gets older.
You think Fran is a dickhead, bodysnatcher? I think he's showed a lot of restraint, considering all the shit he has to put up with.
ohh, I mean, he's a dickhead in a good way. he has to be to be able to reflect Hanna's BS back so she can try and see it. i feel like he's basically just trying to survive at this point. when his character was first introduced, he was so nice and kinda gentle, and i thought he was just gonna be a casualty of the Hanna train. i'm glad to see him standing up for himself

What happened with Shosh? I'm sure her absence this season is purposeful, but I'm curious to see where she's headed

What do you think of Elijah's story at this point?
