It's a damn hotdog salad on a poppyseed bun. And what the hell is a sport pepper? Mustard and horseradish relish and I'm a happy man.Chris_H_2 wrote:What's nasty? The pickle? Onion? Sport peppers? I'll take a Sabrett's with Gulden's spicy brown and some horseradish.doug rr wrote:vegman wrote:What's the difference?Chris_H_2 wrote:LOL at anyone who would choose a NY hot dog to Chicago.

while i enjoy chicago dogs, i too think they're a tad overrated. nevertheless, a hot dog in chicago is still far superior to the sorry excuse for a hot dog nyc offers.

Actually the best dog I've ever had was outside a Phillies game a few years back when I was doing an east coast/midwest ball park tour. Cleveland's dogs were a close second.

Was it a footlong? If not, are you comfortable eating a footlong in public?spike wrote:it was just the perfect amount of juicy and salty. i was also most likely famished.Chris_H_2 wrote:What made it so memorable?spike wrote:the best dog i've ever had was along the mall in DC.

I've never tried a Chicago-style hotdog and I doubt I ever will
