I think this round is so much stronger than the one that preceded it.

I realized that I didn't include the live songs from Olympia that didn't make it to Accelerate. None were particularly great, iirc, but still...

great, now we'll never have that staring down the barrel of the middle distance vs. how the west was won and where it got us title match.
ah, copperplate, a font for the truly modern man.

The tournament has got me to listen to UP a couple times recently. I now think it is top shelf. I was disappointed in it when it came out. It felt flat. Falls to climb, why not smile and suspicion have moved way up for me.

What is "Fascinating?"

I really enjoy "Middle Distance," but agree that "On the Fly" is pretty average.

This is probably the strongest batch of songs so far, which is nice because most of the last rounds have been rather weak.

Stip, when this is done you should run a tournament of Simpsons episodes. First ten seasons only.

This tournament has gotten me into a real R.E.M. kick. For whatever reason haven't been listening to them too much lately apart from Collapse Into Now - this has made me remember why I love this band so much!

For most of these I've voted in two or three the morning they went up, and the rest I had to mull over for the next 2 days. This batch I immediately made my selections right away.
