I tried to talk about him earlier. No one seemed interested. But I'm happy to talk about him with you, pal.

It's an elegant weapon from a more civilized age.
I bet he can use the force

I'm worried he's going to be some sort of kung fu zen master stereotype

Same. The last thing the Force needs is Kung Fu integration. Though, it could be cool if we have an ancient Asian martial arts type mythology that runs parallel to the Force. Like maybe this guy doesn't believe in the Force and has his own ancient set of beliefs. That could be fun to get some diversity in Star Wars mysticism.

Given that there seems to be ninja types in this film it's doubtful there'll be any mention of the force. Theyd easily be dispatched by a force user.

And remember. In this period obi wan and yoda were all that was left and they're in hiding as this all takes place.

Vader will be in it. Or he better be.

I'd put my money on Forrest Moon of Whittaker

I really hope there's much truth in the rumor that Forrest's character will serve as a bridge between the Star Wars and Robo-Cop cinematic universes.

Does it make sense, timeline-wise, for Felicity Jones' character to make a quick stop on Tatooine, bang young Luke Skywalker, and get pregnant with baby Rey?

Sure. I don't see how Rey can't be 35+ years old; when you live on a desert planet, it really takes care of your skin. Look how good Obi Wan looked after just 18 years on Tatooine!

Ok thanks. That's the theory I'm going with.

I think if Felicity Jones is going to be anyone's mom, it'll be Poe Dameron's mom.

But... and this is just off the top of my head ... what if she's just who she is and isn't related to anyone else in the fucking known Star Wars universe?
