The old method doesn't work and I've tried unsuccessfully a few other combos.

How do I post YouTube clips inside posts?

Any advice appreciated.

sometimes if the link is part of a "playlist", it won't work.

You have to look for a youtube link with only the standard however many letters in the address

it should just be copy the whole link in there, instead of copying just the code after the = sign.

The problem is if you clicked to the youtube page from a link on twitter or something or end up on the mobile site on your phone the URL you have in your address bar won't be what you need for the BBC here.
