Re: The Cinematic Motion Picture News Thread
Exclusive scoop here, guys. You are not going to see this anywhere else:
I've been down in the city the last few days and a couple days ago I saw famed writer/director/actor Tom McCarthy on the street. We were walking in opposite directions but he was talking on his phone and I overheard him say, "...but do in a way that's not all Dark Knight." Or it may have been "...but do it in a way that's not all dark night", but I don't think so.
Then, the next day I saw famed actor John Slattery, who just starred in McCarthy's Spotlight, riding a bicycle in the rain. In the rain. That's the sort of dedication you only see when someone is training for a superhero film.
That's right, folks. The conclusion is clear: John Slattery is going to be replacing Ben Affleck as an even older Batman in a film directed by Tom McCarthy.
You heard it here first.

Mine is the same, but the separating dots should be between 4 and 5, not 3 and 4. The top four are all grouped closely for me.LoathedVermin72 wrote:1. The Visitordurdencommatyler wrote:Rank the Tom McCarthy joints.LoathedVermin72 wrote:I wish Tom McCarthy would just make nice movies again

At this point, he just avoid non-Happy Madison stuff. He's always good in them, but the movies always suck.durdencommatyler wrote:BUT ADAM SANDLER IS IN THE COBBLERLoathedVermin72 wrote:1.
