I was a college freshman when the verdict was read, so I remember this pretty vividly. Obviously Robert Kardashian was there, but I don't remember Kris Jenner being involved at all, and especially don't remember the kids being mentioned.

So needless to say, when they started chanting "KAR-DASH-I-AN!!!" over and over in the second episode, I rolled my eyes, stopped the recording and haven't watched it since.

So does it get better once they get into the actual trial stuff?

the kardashian stuff goes away and they've even scaled robert k's role back a ton.
Thanks. Still have the other episodes recorded. Will have to start watching again.

I think you may have missed what they were going for in that scene. It was social commentary, not necessarily "as it happened" historical fact.
But, yeah, spike's right. The Kardashian stuff is very limited after ep 2.

Yea if that was a liberty taken by the show for entertainment purposes that is ridiculous.

I can't get over how great this was. I love Sarah Paulson so much. The guy who played Johnnie Cochran was amazing, too.

I thought the same thing, but apparently it was even worse in real life. The whole defence team was up there passing the gloves around and trying them on - according to the guy who wrote the book this was based on.

Just watched the finale. What a fucking great show. Christ.

Wish they had ended on Nina Simone though.

I don't want to watch the finale because I don't want this to end.

Once you've finished, you can turn into Esquire Network and watch the original trial.

I just started watching this today, and I'm trying to decide if it's a good show or if it's the greatest show of all time. It's just so pulpy and ridiculous, and John Travolta is a madman.

I watched 6 1/2 episodes today; if it weren't for baseball, I'm sure I would've watched them all.
