2-111: Sweetness Follows vs. Sitting Still

Sitting Still is probably my favorite song on Murmur, but the best song on Murmur doesn't come close to Sweetness Follows. This is maybe the most bittersweet song they ever wrote,and that's saying something. It's just impossibly gorgeous.

Sitting Still. It's a great early track, and borderline quintessential as this is the sound that really came to define REM.

I think we agree on REM a lot more than we agree on Pearl Jam, stip. My thoughts exactly.
