before I retire.
100% thought those were the lyrics.
I just realised in RVM he's saying "enmity gauged" not "empty gaze"
He probably does say empty gaze in concert.
I always thought it was empty gaze <_<. Who knows what he says in concert.
It really bothers me when he gets the first word of Even Flow in concert wrong all the time, singing "KNEEElin" instead of "FREEEEZIN". I mean its the first word of one of their biggest hits. It always takes me aback. Also changing all the Mommys and Daddys in Jeremy and Alive. I know the lyric is awkward but changing the lyrics to their most iconic songs is annoying...especially when like in Jeremy they are particularly memorable lines/screams.
i can't stop hearing "she farted" in Dissident and it ruins the song now

While we're on RVM I also always hear "pissed on my plate, swallowed it down"

You guys realize that pearljam.com is not a reliable source for correct lyrics, right?

I think its actually "fist" on my plate.
Also I used to think it was "I was bitten, must have been the devil, he was just plain mean."
