Say what you will about George W Bush, but he wouldn't have stood for Russian aggression in Ukraine. He'd have invaded New Zealand by now.

This is slightly OT and some heavy stuff, above my pay grade anyways but does America really want Trump to be the guy in charge dealing with this?

I for one don't want him doing anything remotely attached to me or my country.

CNN called NY for Trump, which is no surprise. The district-by-district counting is what actually counts, though.

As deplorable as this batch of candidates is, I think the one person I'd have the hardest time voting for is Hillary Clinton.

That is all. Carry on.

So the Bernie camp says that if Hillary doesn't clinch the nomination by the last primary they will go to the convention and try to fight for the nomination even if Hillary has won more of primary votes, states, and pledged delegates.

Thoughts, Bernie Bros?

I'm not a Bernie Bro (I also like Sandersistas as a good name for their supporters), but if his goal is not so much to win now but to set the course of the future of the Democratic Party, an impassioned debate at the usually boring convention could leave a lasting mark if done right.

Secondeded

The "democratic" process of the dnc is heavily flawed. That has been made apparent. Superdelegates need to go. At this point, Sanders owes it to his supporters to fight it tooth and nail to the end.

Is there any politician you can think of at this time that could be in an on-deck position to carry out a Sanders style platform more effectively?

He owes it to the minority of Democratic voters who voted for him and helped him win fewer states to try to turn superdelegates in order to override the will of the larger number of Democratic voters who voted for the other candidate?

Do his actions suggest to you that this is his goal (or the goal of his supporters for that matter)?
