I kinda like that this series doesn't really hold your hand through every function. That would have been the safe move for such a big release. Because a good RPG should confuse the fuck out of you for the first few dozen hoursMonkey_Driven wrote:Yup, which is why I didn't mess with it that much. It's a constant battle deciding whether I want to go out and explore and fight bad guys, or just hang at my settlement and tinker in the shop.Mecca wrote:I dunno I got the hang of it pretty quickly. Eventually you run out of enough materials and have to venture out for caps and scrapstragabigzanda wrote:It's a constant battle deciding whether I want to go out and explore and fight bad guys, or just hang at my settlement and tinker in the shop.Mecca wrote:I dunno I got the hang of it pretty quickly. hahaha nice. I'm doing a Pyro build after I finish this first playthough. I'm going all strength right now.
I just came upon a really cool PvP loaciton. I think I'm around the middle part of the game.

Re: The all inclusive video game thread
I'm a little confused about what stats I should focus on when building my character (other than Intelligence and Faith). Google searches tend to confuse me more. I guess I will just need to explore and experiment more. I've only made it just past the Firelink Shrine.jwfocker wrote:Monkey_Driven wrote:Just started Dark Souls 3. How old are your kids, M_D? Do you find it difficult to make time for gaming?

No kids yet. I usually play while my wife is making dinner or after she goes to bed (11-12:30 or so). She travels quite a bit for work and works late often so I will play when she is gone.LoathedVermin72 wrote:You do have kids, right?

Thank heavens that is over. Next on the agenda is landscaping. At least that can only be done during the day.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Oh, okay.
