Have you read it, Joe? It's pretty much a sampler, but I love going back to his crazy ramblings.

I've read so much of his stuff and I'm still surprised by how incredibly simple and straightforward his style is. What makes him appealing as a writer (at least to me) is his attitude and the creativity in analogies and comparisons, and of course all the colour that came out of his experiences. But the language itself is so naked and simple.

Interesting. Fun read. Kind of a summer beach type book. Not as "literary" as I would have liked. But a decent read, all together. Some great concepts. Some really interesting characters. And a familiar central question. Never mind blowing. Never inventive. But good. Solid writing shadowed by a few really awkward turns.

I'd recommend it to fans of Stephen King and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series.
