"At My Most Beautiful" is a stunning song -- the final chord in the main chord progression (with that descending trio of piano notes) gets me every time, it adds this inexplicable emotional tension to the song that is just devastating to me. It's a great example of REM really working their post-Berry setup to their advantage. "Star 69" is a fairly rote "Monster" track by comparison.
