Both super hot guys, friend. I wasn't arguing, just stating a preference. Oscar is right up my alley. But I'm straight so what the fuck do I know?

I bet he's right up your alley :naughty: :haha:

A redditor claims to have seen the script for 8 and gives a breakdown.

http://www.theguardian.com/film/2016/ap ... _b-gdnfilm
I guarantee you this is false. I haven't clicked the link, but there is a 0% chance anyone who has read the script is posting about it on reddit.

It is of course false no way he saw the script but some of his ideas are interesting.

Rey being born of the force as Anakin was is interesting and the idea mentioned that the force is self correcting and rebirths those it chooses to bring balance to it.

Anakin was supposed to be the chosen one. Perhaps this second carnation in Rey is about true redemption of him and the force redeeming itself?

Rabbit hole stuff but not uninteresting.
Oh definitely interesting stuff. I should read the reddit post just to turn over the ideas.

The very first bullet point is false. That is not the working title of the movie.

*i doubt they've picked one. I'd imagine there's a few being kicked around among those in Charge.

Yeah, I'm sure there is no official title yet. But the "working title" has been announced (Star Wars Episode VIII: Space Bear) and a lot of publications are using it. It's obviously not going to be the title of the movie because it's fucking silly.

Well FA aside, the titles always aimed to echo the spirit of the Flash Gordon serials in being both dramatic and descriptive.

Really wish you'd all read that book 'how Star Wars conquered the universe'. Apart from being an enthralling read it's got an endless goldmine of info about everything, from the most seemingly irrelevant little details to fine descriptive analysis and facts about everything else.

It's so worth it. I couldn't put it down. The guy was forensic in his research but totally tooled up and a natural story teller. He even makes what would be bland business talk seem intriguing. Meaning Georges woes with the studios and later, fanboi merch obsession and collectors. It's such a great read.

Came away feeling I know the really important stuff that I've always wanted to know but in a warm well told story way rather than the bland grey boring aspect it could have been presented in.

He picked a shitty title. This book deserves better than the title it has.

The script leak thing is bullshit. Just a super fan making guesses.

New book coming out by Claudia gray called bloodline. Fills in a whole lot of backstory about han leia and Kylo. Apparently the rebellion / new republic turn on leia when they find out Vader was actually her father. Which is an intriguing premise. How would people react to that given her position?

Also looks like how it turned out Kylo became Kylo presumably for the same reason.

I read her other book Lost Stars and it was a great read if a bit young adult in some places but I'll definitely be reading bloodline.

Photos from filming 8. The Falcon and one of the weird Force trees, which are somewhere in canon.

It's gonna be dark and weird. That doesn't make it empire redone. It'll have a hard time being that good. It'll have be be good in its own way to be a success or loved by fans. This film could be where they misstep hugely.

Thinking down the road if expect the final chapter to be a big action movie blockbuster but I can't see how that happens from here.
