I was hoping they were going to delve a little more into who the three-eyed raven really is. They included the line about "a thousand eyes, and one" when Bran first met him, but he's still referring to him as "the three-eyed raven" after spending a year with him in the cave. Interesting line of discussion, inspired by the AV Club's expert review today: does Jon's resurrection open the door for Lady Stoneheart? It sure seems like the Kingsmoot was delayed so that the death of Balon lined up with Melisandre's loss of faith--now that all the kings she cursed are dead, it gives some credence to her power. Delaying Lady Stoneheart makes the same sort of sense: bringing her back last season (or even the one before) would have erased the (admittedly muted) tension surrounding whether Jon would rise again or now. Now that that's settled, Cat could certainly make an appearance.

I'm skeptical, as I feel that'd be just another storyline to try and squeeze into the hour they have every week. The Riverlands have been short-shifted for years, and I don't think they'll make a sudden dramatic return like the Iron Islands did last night.

If there ever was the right time it would be now. I'm pretty sure we're getting some sort of Riverlands storyline this season as the casting was suggesting it. Jaime might have his Riverlands arc now and Brienne could do whatever after getting Sansa to Jon. (Going home and crossing the Riverlands while doing so?) Whether that means Stoneheart will appear...I'm not sure about that. It would be the right timing, though, because everything relevant to her story might happen now.

There's a shot of Brienne and Pod standing in front of a Tully banner, and there's also a brief shot of Pod getting grabbed around the neck by Bronn, with a Lannister banner in the background. So I'm guessing that Sansa sends Brienne south to find Arya after she reaches the Wall, and Brienne ends up liaseing between camps during the siege of riverrun. Which definitely opens the door for LSH.

I was thinking last night about how fucking long ago she burned those leeches. In the books it happens within a few chapters of each other. Felt like that whole "how much power does the lord of light actually hold?" Feeling the books gave me is lost on the show

I am so happy that the Mereen storyline is going somewhere. Tyrion unshackling the dragons was a cool moment.
