I love this take. I don't agree, but I love it. The fact is that Pablo Honey IS a little underrated & still pretty listenable, even in the context of your Kid A/Amnesiacs.

I saw this at 1am but decided it was wiser to wait until morning to dig into it.

Just bought the WAV from the Radiohead website, will give it a few listens before watching the video.

I wasn't in love after one listen, but I suppose Radiohead aren't really a one-listen kind of band.

I really liked it after my first listen, total Steve Reich-vibes on those incessant strings.

I liked the mix, I didn't find Yorke's vocals too loud.

Other things will no doubt stick out on subsequent listens.

The strings immediately grab me, but the more I listen to it the more I latch on to everything that's going on underneath. This thing is chock full of "blips and bleeps," but I can really appreciate how subdued all of that is within the overall arrangement.

I've been playing it pretty much non-stop since I woke up. It only gets better.
