When the show and book split, I do my best to just remember what happened in the books.

I was having a hard time keeping track of the differing storylines, so I rewatched season 5 in the week before the season 6 premiere as a refresher. Otherwise, I likely wouldn't have remembered a lot of that.

I thought about doing that but then remembered season 5 sucked.
