This sums up Pearl Jam as well though, spenno.
Sure, there's probably other bands I like too who you could describe that way.

I just don't think Radiohead are a very good straight ahead rock band, I think they really found their voice when they brought in other influences. Even a song like Bodysnatchers on In Rainbows rubs me the wrong way, it's too...direct.

Off the top of my head, and in no particular order:

Fake Plastic Trees
Like Spinning Plates
Where I End and You Begin
Arpeggi/Weird Fishes
Planet Telex
In Limbo
Let Down
Lift
Codex
The Trickster

Spenno's description feels accurate for "The Bends" maybe but not for "OK Computer," an album rich in texture and subtle, sophisticated harmony. It still sounds fresh to me all these years later.

Hail to the Thief
OK Computer
Kid A
In Rainbows
The Bends
Amnesiac
Pablo Honey
The King of Limbs

First 4 are bundled together quite close, then a major drop after Amnesiac.

I don't know if I've ever listened to Pablo Honey all the way through. I probably haven't. But Creep was a fun song to sing on Rock Band, so Pablo Honey takes it.

So despite Thom's misgivings about the medium in the past, these guy are going to release a song a week on YouTube and call it the new album, right?

Finally got the chance to listen to the single. I loved it. Only listened once. Already stuck in my head.

Where were you the last several days, anyway?
I was back in Kansas. Sat-Tues morning I was out in the middle of nowhere with really spotty cell service. Then Tuesday, I was just super busy. Flew back Wed.
